Tarkov City, Therapist's Apartment Building

At Therapist's office, Berkut and Pyos turn in for immediate medical attention. They do not ask for payment yet. Dyavol prepares to speak to Therapist, when he spots a friendly face. "Privatel" of the 1st BEAR section "Siniy" is in Therapist's hideout, alone, most likely attempting to get his bearings after the Blue Flame. They linked up and synced up, getting ready to speak to Therapist together. Therapist gave them the run-down on her situation, as well as what she would sell and buy from them. She also extorted them for transport through Tarkov City, by asking for a lump sum of cash and basic objectives.

They needed to secure shipping manifest documents from TerraGroup, a population census, and a teacher's record from the Tarkov City elementary. They took her up on this offer, and left her remodeled apartment building. They immediately headed south towards the TerraGroup building to fulfill their first objective. They quickly found it, as well as a keycard reader placed on an odd location on the wall. They tried swiping the "Labrys" keycard, but it did not work.

They then moved to a Roller Submariner watch store across the street. There was a fortified door that they heard voices from, so they stacked up on it. Dyavol prepared to shoot the door handle to swing it open, while Berkut prepares to move in. As soon as the door would be opened, Priyatel would throw a Stingball through it, which he got from Dyavol.

The door swung open and the Stingball was thrown, but the cover blocked most of the blast. Before it went off, Berkut and Dyavol shot at a scavenger, with Berkut's bullet hitting him for a severe wound, agonizing him. One of them, who wore RUAF equipment, seemed to be the leader. The fireteam stacked up and prepared to enter the room, but just as they did, their leader threw a grenade at them through the Stingball's smoke. Priyatel kicked it a yard away immediately, and then they all jumped away from the grenade. It went off and only Priyatel was hit, for a meager bruise through the wall from blunt splintering from the blast.

The grenade cleared the smoke, giving Berkut an easy sightline on the leader. He made a shot, missing, and then the leader fired back, miraculously hitting Berkut's skull. Berkut's skull was hit for an almost deadly wound, bleeding profusely and causing major trauma. After a quick scuffle, the leader was shot in the eye in a return fire by Dyavol, instantly killing him. Priyatel then repositioned, firing at the other scavengers in that room. He hit one, bringing him to the ground with a nasty torso shot. Dyavol also shot, but his gun had a stoppage. He then quickly drew his RSh-12 revolver, but the last scavenger shot at him. He attempted to jump away, but the bullet hit him, catching his plate.

Priyatel stopped the bleeding on Berkut's head, and then stacked up on Dyavol. Dyavol fixed the stoppage, and then ran into the room. A bullet was fired at his torso, but caught his plate and nothing happened, though he dived into the room. Distracted, the scavenger couldn't see that Priyatel stepped into the room. Priyatel fired his SVU, hitting the scavenger's heart, killing him instantly.

After combat Priyatel managed to dampen the effects of Berkut's head wound using first-aid and morphine, while Dyavol looted the various corpses, getting some goods, including a car battery. They notably found a wad of rubles less than the bandages cost that they bought from Therapist. They then looked around for more loot. They searched a "Fusion" office building, a textiles export company which they knew little about. There was little to nothing in there, however, Dyavol found a TechDeck finger skateboard, which made him smile. It was hooked onto his MOLLE webbing almost immediately. A door on the outside led to a small parking garage section, with the north and south blocked off. To the north, almost hidden in a small concave part of the wall, was a door with another keycard reader. They tried swiping the "Labrys" keycard again, but it did nothing once again. They dismissed this for later.

They then moved north to the bar and grill, in which they found a BEAR leading a scavenger squad. They shared expletives, with the BEAR operator notably saying:

"There is no BEAR! Command left us here! F**k off!"

After thirty or so seconds of deliberation, they decided to clear the bar. At that point, it was already empty and they moved into a back room. Following them, they quickly found themselves in a position where Dyavol could throw an RGO impact grenade at the scavengers, though the BEAR was nowhere to be found. The grenade was thrown just as the BEAR shouted about finding an exit. Quickly clearing the room after the BEAR shouted in fear, they found that he had disappeared onto the street. Dyavol thought he might have fled into the nearby opened TerraGroup office building, but that idea was shot down after he realized they had been leaving all of the doors open.

Afterwards, they swept and cleared the rest of the building, finding some extra spoils. Most of the loot found on the scavengers was completely ruined from the frankly overly powerful show of force that was the RGO. Moving out of the "Top Brand" clothing store onto the street, they spotted some scavengers trying to enter an apartment building with lockpicks. One of them looked to be barely 16 years old, carrying a PPS. They synced up and tried shooting them at the same time, but Dyavol missed his target, the 16 year old, who ran inside. They followed suit, but found that he had already alerted people inside to their presence.

They began clearing the stairs, but eventually, Dyavol went too far forward, and was caught surprised around a corner due to improperly clearing it, being sprayed down by a PPSh. Six shots hit his left arm, somehow not crippling it!! He fell backward down the stairs, as the bullets continued to rain onto the stairwell, preventing the others from going forward. They decided to turn back to Therapist's to get rest, as at this point it was 0057 of the 27th.

GM's Notes
We unfortunately lost two more prospective players. Bummer. We also lost Lop, due to attrition. He was a long time player of mine. I wish him the best in his cool cocoon. This session went okay, but the entire group managed to get hit. If they hadn't had taken Priyatel as the new team lead, they would have died by now. They've also fully established that command does not care about them anymore. They did, however, get some decent loot. Next session, they're going to continue exploring the Streets of Tarkov, looking for more junk and the rest of the documents. IF YOU ARE WILLING TO JOIN THE GROUP, CONTACT ME. We are desperate for new players. Games are held on Thursdays, 7:00pm CST, weekly.
