We had the first hiccup in the game. Some personal things came up for me and disrupted my normal flow of things, which threw off turns 2 and 3. Which sucks, but hey, sometimes life happens. Things should hopefully get back on a normal schedule hopefully. Anyways, here are the SEEN reports for this week!

Training Efforts in Dirk
The Count of Dirk conducted a large military exercise in the fields near Castle Dirk. Hundreds of men and horses were seen maneuvering all day, practicing formations and battle plans. At the same time, the Count made a statement to his subjects, noting that these readiness efforts were in response to reports of massing orcish forces to the north. He reminded the County that his current title was earned on the field of battle, and stated that he remained committed to the defense of his people from any threats.
Cartographers near Mt. Balaim
Baron Arlan II has commissioned a small but capable company of adventurers to explore the country between Blyth and Balaim. Led by an experienced scout and accompanied by a magic-user and two seasoned fighters, the expedition has been charged with surveying the terrain, identifying hazards, locating reliable sources of water and shelter, and determining whether a practical road might be established through the region. Upon their return, they are expected to provide Windy Hill with a serviceable map and a full account of the route.
Investigations Underway in Blackwater Bay
Men of Sanctuary have been reported to be given orders from Baron Wyatt to investigate the murders and bugbear scouts, in junction with the local military, and report to him of the findings
Men Mustering in Aberdeen
Baron Arlan II continues the costly and time consuming work of raising the standing force requested by Count Zach III. Throughout the week, new companies of heavy horse, longbowmen, and even a small unit of magic users are recruited, equipped, and put through their drills. The mustering is conducted openly under the tutelage of the Count’s trusted knights, with the aim of producing dependable units ready to answer the County’s call.
Gnolls in Aberdeen?
Baron Arlan II has ordered an inquiry into reports of a Gnoll engaging in unusual gemstone trade near the borders of Aberdeen and Blyth. Witnesses are being asked to provide their accounts, while the heavy horse maintain regular patrols along the roads and outlying settlements. Standing orders are to approach any persons connected to the matter peacefully and detain them for questioning if necessary. A small company of appropriately skilled adventurers has also been dispatched to investigate the matter further. Merchants and travelers remain welcome within Windy Hill, and there is presently no cause for concern.
Tomb Raiders
Bands of adventurers continued to explore the cliffs south of Skafith's Peaks, combing the area for ruins and loot. Their allegiance remained unclear, but rumors of an ancient tomb in the area appears to have attracted additional treasure-hunters, including some with high skill and impressive equipment.
